Apex Arcade Machine Featured in Sky Advert

Four weeks ago we were approached by production company Sunset+Vine – one of the UK’s major sports production companies.

They wanted to use one of our custom high end arcade machines as part of an advertisement which they were making to promote their coverage of the Guiness Premiership Rugby Final between Leicester Tigers and Saracens.

Staged at the world-famous “home of rugby” – Twickenham Stadium on 28th May 2011; this was the showpiece of the rugby calendar and was shown live in the UK on Sky Sports 2. The video itself is an homage to classic film TRON and the remake TRON: LEGACY. It shows various stars of the two competing teams battling it out over one of our Apex arcade machines. It was shown across all Sky channels (Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 & HD, Sky Sports News HD, Sky News etc..) in the build-up to the game which attracted a UK audience of approximately 1 million viewers. In a thrilling finale, Saracens clinched their first ever English Premiership crown deep into injury time with a the final score of 22-18.
