On the hit game Earthworm Jim, a code can be entered to transform Jim into having Donkey Kong’s head. To access this, press: Down + C,B,A,A,A,A,B,C,B,A,A,A,A,A,B,C. It is said that this was put into the game as Donkey Kong Country was rivalling the game despite being released a while before.

Mortal Kombat (1992)

There are many Easter Eggs in the Mortal Kombat series, one of which being able to unlock a 1 on 1 battle with Reptile. After starting a one-player game, when at the Pit look at the Moon. If silhouettes are gliding past (as they will every 6th game), you will be able to fight Reptile.

The player should win with Double Flawless Victory without a Fatality and blocking throughout the game. Reptile may fall down before the match begins but will give audio clues as to where he is and you can find him. These include:

  • I am Reptile, Find me!
  • You must Find Me to Beat Me
  • Alone is How to Find Me
  • Perfection is Key
  • Fatality is the Key
  • 10,000,000 Points if you Destroy Me
  • Look at Le Luna
  • You Cannot Match My Speed
  • TIP EHT FO MOTTOB (TIP: Read this backwards!)
  • Blocking Will Get You Nowhere

If you are playing as Sonya Blade and want to challenge Reptile, you will have to repeat the above procedure without enabling the Blood Code. Again, you will have to win with Double Flawless Victory and use the Kiss of Death Fatality.

After defeating Reptile, the player will receive 1000000 points but the difficulty of the game will rise.

Once again, Bespoke Arcades wishes you a very Happy Easter. We hope you spend your couple of days off playing retro games on our Retro arcade machines! Maybe you can try these hidden Easter Eggs this time round?
