Gadget Show Live, one of the largest European technology trades shows, is coming up from 7 April until 12 April in Birmingham. While Gadget Show Live covers the entire world technology, plenty of game-related goings-on are planned.

The Game Zone Stage is where many of the big announcements, contests, and giveaways will be made. Channel 4’s Matt and Darren will be the hosts for any Game Zone event. These two are famous for their YouTube show We Got Game, which features a humorous look at video games that is accessible to every sort of gamer. WWE wrestling champions Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella, along with her sister and fellow wrestler Brie Bella, will be making appearances at the show in conjunction with the annual WWE spring UK tour. Various game companies and retailers will also be using the stage to promote their various games and events.

Platronics Games is the main video game tournament sponsor for Gadget Show Live. Winners will be in line for some great prizes by playing and dominating games like FIFA 15 and Super Smash Bros. While the skill level of players at these big shows isn’t always easy to predict, there’s sure to be at least someone able to challenge you fairly. Additionally, the After Hours Theatre, the show after the show’s daytime ending, will be hosting gaming events as well. These hour-long events take place from 5pm to 6pm on Wednesday the 8th and Friday the 10th and feature several YouTube video game-related personalities.

Some of the non-gaming events also might hold interest to an attending gamer. There’s an “Ultimate Home Theatre Experience” to try out, as you sit the luxury of a home screen with plush seats that most people have neither space nor money to afford! The newest, most advanced TVs from Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony, and others will be on display. What might be especially fun to watch is the 2015 Fighting Robots Featherweight World Championships, which will be occurring continuously throughout the week.

Bespoke Arcades will of course be at the show with their ware. Multiple arcade models will be available to try and discuss, both stand-up and tabletop. Come try the Nu-Gen, Bespoke’s top-of-the-line widescreen 2-player cabinet that brings technology that can deliver not only classic arcade experiences but top-of-the-line modern gaming interaction as well. These machines are based on the modern Japanese sit-down arcade machines that house the newest titles in Japan.

Gadget Show Live is sure to feature gaming and tech fun for all attendees. Hope to see you there!
