The Superb Range Of Games From Bespoke Arcades

Video arcade games have been enormously successful since their introduction in the early 1970s. The 1980s and 1990s saw the introduction of some of the most memorable arcade games of all time and many of the characters from these games have gained an iconic status in popular culture. Now, Bespoke Arcades, leading suppliers of arcade machines include over one hundred and fifty classic arcade games with each of their custom-built arcade cabinets.

Bespoke Arcades include a range of classic arcade games from the likes of Namco, Sega, Atari and Taito with their arcade cabinets. These games include favourites such as Asteroids, Bubble Bobble, Paperboy and, of course, PacMan and Space Invaders. PacMan was first released in May 1980 and has become synonymous with arcade gaming.

The simple game involving the dot-eating yellow character and his four multicoloured ghost opponents has been a family favourite for almost three decades. Space Invaders was one of the first ‘shooting’ games and celebrated its thirtieth birthday in 2008. The Guinness World Records it as the top arcade game of all time.

Both games are included along with all Bespoke Arcades’ arcade cabinets. Phil Patsias, from Bespoke Arcades, the leading online retailer of arcade machines and arcade cabinets, supplying some of the most prestigious outlets across the UK including Harrods, Hamleys and Selfridges, said, “Video arcade games have a place in the affections of two generations of people, from the simple but addictive games of the early 1980s right through to some of the more involved two-player arcade games of the 1990s including Streetfighter II and Mortal Kombat. With over three hundred and fifty classic arcade games included with all our arcade machines there is certainly a classic game for everyone.”

Arcade games often have very short levels, simple and intuitive control schemes, and rapidly increasing difficulty. This not only makes them simple to understand without being easy to complete but it also harks back to the environment of the arcade, where the player is essentially renting the game for as long as can stay alive (or until they run out of coins!). Mr Patsias added, “Running out of tokens isn’t a factor with our range of superb arcade machines. It took an American over six hours to complete all the levels of Pac Man and so if you are looking to emulate that achievement on one of our arcade cabinets you won’t need a huge supply of coins to do it!”
